I have only one thing stopping me from making the switch to retroarch, though. For many years I have been using psxe but it is simply not as accurate as retroarch’s mednafen core. I am impressed by accuracy of emulation that can be achieved using its cores. I have recently started using retroarch for its 5 gen consoles emulation.
